Advisory Board

The primary objective of this advisory board is to bring together a diverse group of well known experts, thought leaders, and well-connected authorities in the field of international education and educational consultancy. Their collective wisdom, experiences, and insights will play a vital role in guiding our strategic decisions, refining our services, and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.

The Advisory Board of Consultations
will serve as a valuable resource in the following ways

 Expert Guidance: Members will provide expert advice and recommendations on the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in educational consulting.

Quality Assurance: Their input will help us maintain the highest standards of excellence in our services, ensuring that we consistently deliver outstanding support to our students and clients.

Samuel Lundquist

Former Vice Dean &

Chief Advancement Officer at Wharton

Samuel Lundquist, a transformative leader in higher education administration, currently serves as Senior Advisor for International Relations at the University of Southern California and the Marshall School of Business. He concluded his 30-year career at the University of Pennsylvania as Vice Dean & Chief Advancement Officer at the Wharton School. Other key roles at Penn and Wharton included Assistant Vice President for Development and Campaign Initiatives, Chief of Staff & Managing Director, and Director of MBA Admissions. Sam also worked at Bucknell University as Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations and as Associate Director of Admissions. He was the Director of MBA Admissions at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.

Lloyd Paradiso

Educational Consultant & Admissions Expert

Lloyd Paradiso, an esteemed leader in educational consulting and admissions, brings over forty years of experience to our team. His diverse career includes roles as a teacher, coach, administrator, and adjunct professor, enabling him to expertly assess and position candidates in the academic landscape. Lloyd is a member of prestigious organizations such as the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC). As a founder, past president, Committee Chair, and board member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), he holds the distinguished designation of Certified Educational Planner (CEP).

Liane Pei

Educational Consultant, Former Admissions Director at The Browning School & Avenues: The World School

Liane Pei is an experienced management executive and thought leader specializing in admissions, counseling, strategic planning, and programming within K-12 education. With over 20 years of experience in NYC independent schools, she served as Director of Ongoing Schools Placement at The International Preschools, overseeing admissions and exmissions counseling for 300+ families annually. As Director of Admissions at The Browning School, Liane personally interviewed 450+ families each year and led financial aid reform, as well as a school rebranding initiative. Liane also served as Director of External Affairs at Avenues, The World School, managing relationships with stakeholders, crisis communications, and policy development. She was elected Co-Chair of ISAAGNY, where she led the organization through key debates about ERB testing for kindergarten admissions.

 

In addition to her extensive work in education, Liane brings a diverse skill set from the arts, law, healthcare, and external relations. She has led successful marketing campaigns, expanded financial aid opportunities, and fostered strategic collaborations between school leadership and the community. Known for her personalized counseling approach, Liane helps families find the best educational fit for their children. A native New Yorker, she holds dual AB degrees from Brown University and a law degree from Columbia University. Liane is admitted to the NYS Bar and has experience in private practice.
